The 16th Montreal International Black Film Festival ( MIBFF) , taking place from September 30 to October4, 2020, is proud to launch the 7th edition of its great international poster contest!
The Montreal International Black Film Festival is accepting entries for its annual poster design competition.
Are you a graphic designer, artist, illustrator, poster designer or photographer who loves film and diversity? Are you creative, open-minded or imaginative? Send us your poster proposals for the 16th edition of the Montreal Black Film Festival.
Contest objective The Montreal International Black Film Festival (MIBFF) is organizing a contest for its poster campaign in celebration of its next edition in September.
_ The official festival poster will produced in a range of formats (width x height) :
4 x 6 feet; 27 x 40 inches; 24 x 36 inches; 18 x 24 inches; 7 x 9 inches etc.
_ Resolution must be at least 300 dpi.
The poster must include the following text :
_ MONTREAL INTERNATIONAL BLACK FILM FESTIVAL
_ September 30 – October 4, 2020
_ Writing and images must be copyright free.
_ The text and poster must be vector-based and editable.
We accept the following file types:
ai, eps , psd et indd,
_ The participant’s name or signature must NOT be included in the poster.
_ Each participant can submit up to three proposals.
_ The proposal must be accompanied by a brief description explaining the artistic choice and symbolism of graphics used.
Deadline : 15th May 2020
There is no entry fee to participate!
It’s free to enter!
The winner will receive a cash prize of $500 (Canadian dollars).
Who may enter ?
Participation The contest is open to everyone, both professionals and amateurs. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental consent to participate in the contest.
