The SMARTS-UP programme, managed by Université de Paris, aims to promote the internationalisation of Master’s programmes and to attract the best international students in order to constitute a pool of excellence for the recruitment of future PhD students.
In this context, the programme will grant €8,000 scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023 to allow Graduate Schools taking part in this project to welcome international students in their Master’s programmes. The scholarships are awarded for one year.
– CV (1 page).
– Cover letter : a page detailing the candidate’s motivations for joining the chosen Master, as well as career ambitions, interests and reasons why the candidate wishes to join the University of Paris.
– Letters of recommendation : two letters of recommendation written by a professor or an internship supervisor.
-When applicable, summaries of the candidate’s previous work (eg: dissertations, books, internship reports, scientific articles, etc.).
– Research project : if the candidate wishes to work on a particular research theme and / or if he / she has identified a laboratory or a department in which he / she would like to do his / her internship, submit a research project of 3-4 pages (references included).
